    "I followed her advice pre-market - got some repairs done and for the most part followed the stager's advice (get rid of clutter, clean everything, try to match color/design of furnishings with your home style). I had a 1950s ranch and already had mostly mid-century modern style furnishings, so just had to tweak a few things and it came out really nice. The house was sparkling for pictures and open house. As Melinda advised, we stayed in a hotel for the weekend to allow for unfettered access to potential buyers.
